CEC is proud to announce the hiring of Samantha Falconio as the new Head Cheerleading Coach. Falconio brings over a decade of coaching experience, a passion for youth development, and a record of competitive success to the program.
Falconio most recently served as Assistant Cheer Coach at Pennsbury High School, where she played an integral role in leading teams to high-ranking finishes at PIAA States and NCA Nationals. Prior to that, she was Head Coach at William Penn Middle School and Harry S. Truman High School, consistently fostering positive team cultures while developing strong tumbling and stunt techniques.
“I’m beyond thrilled to accept the position of head cheerleading coach at Conwell-Egan. It’s an incredible honor, and I can’t wait to lead, inspire and grow with this amazing team,” said Falconio. “Here’s to a season full of spirit, strength and success.”
In addition to her extensive coaching background, Falconio holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Widener University and a Bachelor's degree from Temple University. Her blend of technical cheerleading expertise and commitment to the personal development of her athletes makes her a valuable addition to the CEC community.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Falconio to our athletics staff,” said Athletic Director Mike Miller. “Her experience, leadership, and enthusiasm are exactly what we need to elevate our cheerleading program to new heights.”
CEC looks forward to a spirited and successful season under Falconio’s leadership. Join us in welcoming Coach Falconio to the CEC family!
